    i dropped my samsung A3 2016 into the water and now the key button doesnt work and the speaker is having a trouble too. the screen is fine so far. i have shook and banged my phone and blew it which was stupid but i didnt know that we shouldnt do that to the phone-which-fell-into-water. plz send help

    If you didn't do the proper procedure right after that happened, I think you're out of luck, sorry.
    If you have insurance, go on and do a claim.

    [GUIDE] Oh, no! My Phone got Wet!

    Hello. Sadly turning / leaving it on is not the best plan. Some swear leaving it in dried rice will do the trick, but it won't clear the impurities dried on the circuit boards.
    Best if you can wash it a few times in Isopropyl Alcohol (from a drug store / pharmacy).
    Remove all removable items, sim, back cover (battery where it's possible).

    Try Rukbat's guide above and ask there.
    You may be lucky, but leave it off at least 24 hours if it was a quick dunk.
    3 - 5 days if you can bathe it. The screen will take 5 days to clear anyway.

    I dropped a week old Moto X Style in a toilet on holiday but it didn't seem to have gone through the ports and after 24 hours just turned off it was OK.
    An exception probably.
