Galaxy S4: Cell Stand By eats 86%

Hi all,

I got that phone. There's no sim (I use just internet on it over wifi). Cell Stand By is consuming around 86% of the battery, and the phone gets discharged in 2 hours.

It doesn't matter whether I turn Airplane mode on or off.
It doesn't matter whether I turn wifi on or off.

I tried hard reset (completely formatted the phone) - doesn't help.

I downgraded the OS to 4. - doesn't help.

When I use the phone it heats up, and then starts glitching, sensor button stop responding (screen still work)

It worked fine earlier.

I also noticed that when I inserted the sim - the phone couldn't find the network.

Any ideas?

Have you spoken to your carrier about it? The first thing to do is to eliminate the possibility of a bad SIM.
