I am a IT-dummy and even dont know which browser is installed originally on my above mentioned tablet. I often get automatically the response "this browser is no longer supported". How can I actualize my browser, where and which one and without risks to get it worse?
thanks in advance, your "out of time - guy"

Hello. You should have Samsung's own browser app called "Internet" with an earth icon (up to recently).
You should also have the Google browser "Chrome".
There are many other browsers free to download from the Play Store, including Firefox, Dolphin, Opera etc.

Both above can have your pc bookmarks carried over to their app.

I preferred the Internet app when I had Samsungs, but have got used to Chrome now on my Motorola, though am leaning towards Firefox more often.

Hopefully both apps will have updated their versions over time. If the device hasn't been used in a while, you can actually download "Samsung Internet for Android" from the Play Store, if compatible - as well as the Galaxy app store.

I've been using Firefox since version "make fire by rubbing sticks", so I put it on whatever I'm using - computer, laptop, phone. It maintains pretty good sync for bookmarks, screens, passwords, etc. (Although I'd never use its password sync, it's not secure enough.)
