The magnifier widget will not save my capture shots. Any suggestions?

When I hit capture the picture is on the screen but when I save it I can't find it in Gallery or in my files. I don't know if it is not saving it or if I don't know where to find it.

A friend and I are experiencing the same problem with our Galaxy S7s. The Save button doesn't seem to work on the S7's magnifier. We both have the Android Marshmallow operating system. Several other friends who have the S5 are able to save their magnifier shots into their photo galleries with no problem. They have Android Lollipop on their phones. I've tried taking a screen shot of the magnified capture because it freezes on my display for a short time. It's not a great solution because the symbols on the screen also appear on the screenshot and have to be cropped off, but it's the only alternative I've been able to come up with until (hopefully) this bug is fixed. The Save button is useless.
