My Moto G is showing as running out of storage. I went into the Storage in Settings and deleted most of the downloaded files. When I look at the Downloads in storage it shows as using 5.46mb space but when I then click on the Downloads it only shows one file of 71.48kb. I have rebooted in recovery mode and cleared cache but nothing changed.
It is a 1 generation phone running lollipop 5.1 and up to date on system updates

    Welcome to Android Central!

The downloads app just shows a history of what was downloaded. You want to use your file explorer to go to the download folder and see what is in there.
