I have a sprint lg g4 unlocked phone using an AT&T sim card ,my mms doesnt work.

I am using the default messages service ,I have tried the textra message app ,that works but there is a bad lag between sending and receiving .is the problem with the APN etc or is it just not working withe AT&T sim and the sprint phone ? I'm lost with this stuff
