Why there is no star for favorites in my contact list?

I can't add anyone to favorites

I have samsung galaxy S6. I haven't changed the device, I just updated to Marshmallow. Now all the sudden there is no star so I can add people to favorites. I don't know what to do.

Your question was answered in the thread previously linked. However, I'll translate.

Open your contacts, change it to show all your contacts. Open the contact you want to add to your favorites, locate the star at the top of the card and tap it. This adds the contact to your favorites. These instructions apply to the stock contacts app, if Samsung has replaced it with their own version things may work different.
