I have a Galaxy S5. I used to be able to unlock the home screen by swiping from left to right. I now use a 4 digit pin to unlock the screen. I want to go back to the swipe method but it is no longer available. When I go into Settings, Lock Screen, enter my pin number, the swipe function shows up but is greyed out. It says "'Swipe', Disabled by administrator, encryption policy, or credential storage".

Is there a way for me to recover the swipe function without having to reset the phone to it's default settings.

You may need to first Clear Credentials in Security.
