Why won't. My Samsung galaxy 5 download messages from I phones

Just got this phone off Amazon was supposed to be unlocked but still shows alot of Verizon stuff on it, turned it on through metro

It can be a Verizon unlocked phone, so there's no problem there. As far as getting messages from iPhones, you have to delete your iMessage account if you have one. Then have everyone who messages you from an iPhone check the SMS box on at least one text.

Welcome to Android Central! You can usually Disable a bunch of the Verizon bloatware by going to the App Manaager, selecting the app, and tapping Disable.
