So me being dumb like always downloaded a hacked ask of a game I like and after I installed the app, I tried to open it but it said I needed to install something else before I could continue so I did. Now I have these ads popping up whenever I turn on my phone. It's always the same ad (Google your Samsung Galaxy s6 is infected with (6 viruses) follow these steps to fix) and when you click the link it shows, it takes you to a spam app in the play store. I have looked on multiple websites, I have deleted the apk, I have booted into recovery mode and cleared system cache, I've done everything possible. How can I fix? With factory reset as a very last resort. I know it's possible to fix cuz I had a problem like this before and managed to fix it on my s3

Your best bet is a factory reset. We also strongly discourage installing hacked apks, because of the malware risk as well as the fact that they're mostly pirated. Thread closed.
