How do I fix "Authentication is required. You need to sign into your Google Account" in Google Play.

When I try and download any app, on my s5, this error pops up "Authentication is required. You need to sign into your Google Account." However, I am already signed into my google account.

have you changed your password if so you need to log in again with new password
or try logging in then out again
