Samsung a3 screen slowly started turning black

[AC Question]

A few days ago my mobile was in my bag for a few hours. When I took it out the top of the screen had black dots. With time the blackness (it was more of a brownish black) kept increasing and finally the whole screen was black except a few pixels at the sides. Now the screen is jet black like it is when the mobile is turned off. Is there any way to repair this?
