Can I download an app on my son's phone without having the phone?

I want to install My Mobile Watchdog on my 15yo son's phone. I don't want him on the house wifi right now because we are almost out of data. Can I go into his google play account and download it that way?

No. You have to have the device in your hand. You could block him at the modem end in the interim.

Just take his phone from him and install it.. then set it up.
