Nearly every time I go to use Android Device Manager to locate my Note 3, I get the message "Your device's location access is turned off". When I find the device, sure enough, it's off. I turn it back on again and then test ADM and it works again. But the next time I need to use ADM to find the device, I get the message again.

Why does it keep turning itself off? Is there a way to prevent this? It's not because the battery gets low. My wife has the same phone and it doesn't do this even though she regularly runs the battery right down.

It's so frustrating to think that if I ever actually do lose my phone, the ADM service is not going to help me.

    Thanks for any suggestions.
