What is com.qualcomm.atf? Can i uninstall it?

I would like to know what it is and how it functions. Can I safely uninstall it without interfering with other functions on my android?

com.qualcomm.atf would appear to be involved with ARM Trusted Firmware, so I wouldn't do anything to it.
