How do I get rid of this adware/malware??

[AC Question]

When using google search (Not chrome) which opens the internet app....the following website/ad pops up:

https: //enginedroid77 .com says:
WARNING!
Samsung Galaxy S6 is infected with virus and battery has been damaged!

Continue with instructions to fix phone. Do not close this window.

**Exit at your own risk**

When I close the warning the page says: (2) Virus have been detected on your Samsung Galaxy S6 and battery has been infected and damaged.
Then there is a timer. (if the timer runs out nothing happens.)

If I follow the repair instructions: If says to go to google play and install a virus removal app. I get an error 400 Campaign data was not completing when handling click or visit.

I downloaded avast, avg and Malewarebytes and nothing was found.

Welcome to the forums! You could try clearing cache and data for the Internet app in settings - apps and then reboot your phone. Those ads are bogus and you should never click on them, use your return key to exit. Tell us how it goes.
