I keep getting ERR_PROXY_CONNECTION_FAILED on my 5.1.1 Kyocera Duraforce phone.

I found on here that others were having the same issue with other android phones and one person found a solution in their situation to modify the wifi network proxy from "manual" to "none" which did also work for me. Although I saved this setting, the proxy switches itself back to "manual" on its own and the error problem continues until I switch it back to "none". This has happened several times. How can I keep it set to "none"? Or is this something I shouldn't be changing?
