Nexus 5 on reboot loop. Why?

A

AC Question

Hi,

I bought a Nexus 5 at a retail store 2.5 years back. For the past one month, it goes on a reboot loop everytime I press the unlock/power button. I spoke to the Google Play Support team and they asked me to delete cache and do a factory reset. I did the same, however it still is the same. Interestingly, when I took it to the LG Support Store, the phone showed no signs of reboot so they refused to open my phone. However, I'm still facing the problem. The screen shows 'Google', 'Android' and starts rebooting again. What else could I do? I have Android 6.0.1 with the latest security patch installed as received.

Hi

If the LG support store could not do anything, then I'm afraid there's not really much more for you to do. I would "think" that a reflash of the OEM software might do it, but I'd also think they would have tried that. Try looking for a method to flash it by searching on Youtube.

Sorry, and good luck!
