Is there a way to use the android device manager from google to override to the screen lock?

AC Question

I forgot my backup pin and don't have a samsung account. I have since used the google android device manager to find it, however when I try and reset the lock screen with a password lock it says that due to there already being a lock screen it isn't needed. I've 2 more tries before it factory resets and would like to avoid that if possible, if not is there a way to backup my data remotely?

Welcome to Android Central! In my experience, Android Device Manager doesn't really work for what you're trying to achieve. I'm afraid you may be out of luck. In the future, write down your passwords on a piece of paper and keep them secure in a safe or something, if you're prone to forgetting important information like this. And always make sure your important data is backed up regularly, or synced with Google or some other cloud service.
