    Hi there,

As the title suggests my Galaxy S4 mini GT-i9192 stuck on Samsung logo on boot. This started to happen after a took a picture and texted it.

After reading a bunch of troubleshooting tutorials I was able to boot in recovery mode (volume up + home + power). However, when I select "wipe cache partition" it shows me an Error! message after a second or so.

I installed Smart Switch in order to back up my contacts and such. However, Smart Switch says "USB connection is not supported" ... "Change the connection mode to 'Media Device (MTD)' and try connecting again". But the phone is in recovery mode, so I can't switch to MTD.

Is there any app that I can transfer to my SD card and try "apply update from external storage" or is this method strictly for applying OS updates?

Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!
