Why is my keyboard different from yesterday? (ZTE Allstar)

I didn't change anything in my settings at all yesterday but when I used my phone the keyboard was completely different, two emoji buttons, smaller keys, even an extremely light vibration compared to what I'm used to. I don't like this change because the keys are too small for my liking, but when I go to the settings to change the keyboard it's greyed out. How can I change this?
