nexus 5 is recognised by pc but can't acces it

when my mobile nexus 5 is connected to pc it recognised by pc but can't acces it

Pull down the notification shade when the phone is plugged into the PC, you should notice a notification that says USB charging or something to that effect. Tap that and it should take you to another menu giving you more options, select file transfer or whichever option sounds like the one you need.

Then go try again on the PC.
