Can I set my phone so that only MMS uses data, but everything else uses wifi?

I just found out that I need to have data on to send/receive MMS, but before I do this I would like to know if there is a way to safeguard other apps from using data. I have no data included in my plan so it would cost a fortune to start using it.

When you turn Wi-Fi on it should automatically disconnect your data.When you send an mms your data will momentarily turn on until the mms is sent.
