Only if there was an update to it that increased its storage footprint. Disabling system apps is only possible once updates have been uninstalled, other than that there is no removal of space-consuming stuff except MAYBE some cached used also but that's generally pretty minimal.
Welcome to Android Central! hallux is correct. The main benefit of disabling a preinstalled app is to prevent it from ever opening (and therefore taking up system RAM, using CPU cycles and therefore contributing to battery usage, and using data).
