Cannot update HTC One M8s to 6.0 / stuck in recovery

[AC Question]

So today I received a prompt, allowing me to upgrade my HTC One M8s from 5.0.2 to 6.0, which was great. Unfortunately during the updating process (step 1 of 2), my phone went to system recovery mode and prompted me with these exact lines:

The phone has never been rooted or messed with, just everything the operator gave me. OTA just doesn't work. Please help

Bring it to your carrier. You have to reflash a good update and you can't. They probably can. (If not, they broke your phone, so they'll have to replace it.)
