Will the battery last longer if i use the normal chargeing imstead of the quick charge?

I'd say yes to that. Lithium batteries are not as delicate as the old nicad ones were, but they still don't like heat. If your device gets really hot during fast charge it's probably better to charge at a slower rate. That said, i use both in my devices... just depends on how much of a hurry you're in..
