How do I get rid of the stupid orange button?

On the recent apps list, there's this orange button (bottom right of the screen) that wipes away all the tabs. Basically, I lose all my opened Internet pages because I accidently swipe near it. It is the most annoying thing. Like, screw the nonexistent battery life, at least I can charge my phone, but I cannot find those websites I kept open. They are gone. Because of this stupid eraser button thing. How do I get rid of it???

I don't know how to remove that button, but you can go to Chrome settings and turn off merge tabs and apps. That way even if you accidentally swipe off Chrome, going back to it retains the open tabs. They'll just reload.
