Media audio has stopped working on my car stereo . Help?

[AC Question]

I've had my phone (S6) connected to my car radio (Sony XPLOD) for years and for some reason all of a sudden the media audio has stopped working. So I went into the bluetooth settings to try and turn it back on with the little slider and it goes across but it's greyed out . I've tried re-pairing them and it still does the same . HELP as I need my music in my car ! =D
