Why does the content of my Hotmail folders on my smartphone differ from that shown on a normal PC?

The emails in my Inbox (accessed through Hotmail.com on a PC) differ from those shown on my Samsung S3. They used to be identical but, for some reason, the emails on the S3 come from different folders and the list is exactly the same no matter when I access the folder. However, the Deleted folder on my S3 lists the Inbox emails although not the latest. How do I correct this?

Hi, it sounds like the app isn't refreshing or updating. Can you manually update this?
