My Samsung 10.1 touchscreen doesn't work when the battery is low: can anything be done?

Welcome to Android Central! How low? It works normally when the battery is medium to high?

In general, it's not a good idea to let your battery regularly dip very low, since that can lead to a shorter overall battery lifespan.

If you're talking about "low" being around 40%, something is wrong, and you should bring the device in for repair. If you're talking about 10%, you should never let the battery get that low. Recharge by 40%. Lithium batteries are NOT deep-discharge power sources.
