My Galaxy 3 has an echo when I talk. How do I stop this annoying sound?

Welcome to Android Central! S3, Note 3, Ace 3? Does this happen if you use a headset as well?

If the phone has a case, try removing the case. Cases that block the secondary (noise-cancelling) mic can sometimes cause this problem.

If not, the first stop is the carrier - it could be their problem (echo-cancelers - a part of the phone network - do sometimes break down).
