play store not available

[AC Question]

My galaxy tab4 was constantly rebooting & I tried all fixes with no solution working,I then removed my sd 16gb micro card which finally stopped the rebooting,I didn't transfer any data as I am not that experienced & now I see my mistake has left me with greyed out apps & play store not available,will IT be OK if I factory reset it?any advice will be gratefully accepted.Thanks. Gillxx

Welcome to Android Central! The greyed out apps are probably the ones you had "Moved to SD," so when you removed the card, that makes those apps inoperable. Not sure why the Play Store would be unavailable, though.

Try inserting the card into your computer and run chkdsk to look for bad sectors: http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...guide-using-chkdsk-fix-corrupted-sd-card.html. Allow the computer to fix any bad sectors, then plug the card back into the tablet. Do most of the apps become available again?
