How do you fix a Samsung Galaxy s6 edge when it's charging off and on.

I am not doing anything with the charger, the phone has been laying on my noghtstand. This is the first time it has done this, and I have tried using different outlets. I have to have my phone for work tomorrow, and my phone wolnt stay charging long enough to actually GAIN BATTERY

Sounds as if the charging port in the phone is loose. It has to be replaced. It's possible that it's a loose plug in the charger, but not very likely - the plug is a lot stronger than the port.
