Why do I keep getting a notification that Google Play Services needs to be updated?

My phone did a software update yesterday and ever since then I have been getting a notification that reads "Google Play won't run unless you update Google Play Services."

The thing is, my Google Play works fine! I can update apps and everything. I checked the settings in my Google Play and it says everything is up to date. But I still keep getting that annoying notification all the time telling me I need to update.

Any suggestions?

Try a Cache Partition wipe, if possible on whatever device you have.
