My tablet has 8GB, and I'm allowed 5GB, however, 4.9GB is taken up by built in apps. Suggestions on how to clear up space? P.S. I have no pictures and 2 downloaded apps. Help! Thanks.

Hello and welcome to AndroidCentral! What model of tablet is it? You may have a large amount of temporary data cached that could be deleted. You can either download a cleaner app or go into settings /apps and select each app and delete cache. Depending on the brand, you might already have a utility like this on the tablet or in the settings.

If it supports an SD card you could expand storage with an inexpensive SD card. If it doesn't, you could potentially root it and delete the pre-installed apps that you don't want., but there is a risk in doing that if you are unfamiliar with the rooting process.

Or you could wait for a Marshmallow update, install an SD card as Adoptable storage, and add storage that way. (Adoptable storage is ideal for 4GB and 8GB devices - that have no room to install apps to.)
