I I have a Motorola G3 with 4GB of internal storage (1GB not counting how much the OS uses) running Android Marshmallow, my problem is that I am getting constant messages and warnings that my device is full and photos/apps etc may fail to save. I have a 32GB memory card in the phone which only has 20% used while the internal storage is always around 90% with the bare minimum apps installed. I have tried moving apps/media etc to the memory card but for the life of me I cannot figure out how. I read online that I may have set my memory card up incorrectly when I installed marshmallow and now apps only save to internal storage. I don't use the memory card for anything other than phone storage and occasionally inserting into my PC to transfer music. If I were to setup the SD card as the other storage option will I be able to use the card for all of my saving needs? Do I have to format and lose everything? How exactly can I do this?
