Galaxy S7 system upgrade now calendar won't sync?

[AC Question]

Hi! The system update downloaded and installed last night. Now, my calendar is mostly wiped clean. All of my past and future appointments are missing. I can see them in my Google calendar on the website, but they will not sync to my phone. Not sure yet if there are other issues. My email and contacts seem to be intact.
