Google Fit keeps asking if I want to enable High Accuracy?

A

AC Question

I always have High Accuracy mode on for fitness tracking but whenever I open Google Fit I'm greeted with a card below the wheel thing that asks me if I want to enable High Accuracy, I do, even though I know it's already on, then I close the app and the next time I open it it's there again!

Any ideas? Thanks

Hi and welcome to Android Central. I just tested this on my G5 and I also get the same message, despite being on 'high accuracy' I guess it's just a greeting message to remind you that high accuracy achieves better results when using the app.

I have the same issue but on huawei mate 8.

even with it turned on in device settings, and within the settings of google fit..it reverts back to 'off' in google fit..and data is inaccurate.
all other location based apps on the device seem to work fine though
