Restoring drive to factory version

[AC Question]

My ques is ,,if I restore my drive app to factory version,then does all files stored in it will be removed?? Basically if we go to inbuilt app like drive's settings thn it shows "uninstall updates" I.e if we OK it thn it will show that ur app will go to factory version.....
I want to uninstall recent drive update that I hav done coz now after update,,whn I download PDF from chrome thn it directly try to open in drive n take lot of time.....but before updating chrome shows to download from anywhere like uc,opera or chrome itself....

Hello and welcome to AndroidCentral! Google Drive is just the mobile app that interfaces with the files you have stored in your Google Drive account. Everything in Drive is stored on the Google servers. If you downloaded something from Drive and edited it and haven't saved it back yet you might want to save them back to Drive just in case.
