S6 Edge sleep of death

[AC Question]

I have a S6 Edge phone that only the LED light is flashing, nothing else Is working. My computer doesn't recognize the device either. The phone is In mint condition, It was working fine one minute then the next minute it's in a coma! No manual button restart combination works, i've tried them all for over a month now. A phone technician says someone may have sold me a brand new phone that's stolen from the cell company and the company shut the phone down. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
