Water Indicator..

Currently having a disagreement with my local Phone shop. Bought the Phone on a Friday, It updated at home then shut down for the whole weekend. unable to get it back up with a reset etc etc. Stuck on the Samsung load screen

The store checked the Water indicator said that I had gotten it wet due to the Red Crosses on the white tag inside the phone. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the indicator had to be bright red or even a pink color. I know It never went anywhere near water..

So does a white indicator with red crosses mean water damage, becausee every page I've come across says no. But this store says yes, which means I have to fork out a crap load of money for a replacement, being "my fault" and all.. Thanks

The red crosses bleed colour into the white area when there is exposure to water. If they are solid crosses with no bleeding of colour, it indicates no exposure to water.
