i try downloading an app to my phone but am told its already installed, which its not

I want to download the Netflix app on my phone. it says its already installed when I try to do this and shows that it is compatible with all my devices, showing my current android with tmobile and my last two with Verizon that are no longer active. I believe I had this app on my old phones but they were never in use so I did not transfer it over to my new device two months ago. the people at Netflix think this may be the problem.

Just click on it. If it was previously installed before it will show as installed on the Play Store using a PC browser. Just click on installed and select the new device then ok. There won't be any issue in installing it.
