Battery is dying even if 100% and removed from phone

The battery is draining juice too quickly, its a new phone - 2mths and its getting worse . I have always been careful with charge and discharge. i go to bed its 100% and it dead before 7am. Then I thought to fully charge and remove the battery but it still is dead in the morning. Performance in the phone isnt good either the percentage can be at 70% and then within 15 mins its at 35% then it counts down to 25% gives warnings won't take a call and within another 10 mins its dead. not sure what to do because at first i thought it was app related but now I am not convinced. I purchased the phone in Italy and it will be a bit hard to try and take this back.......any help please
