I have a Moto G from 2014, and suddenly, it started constantly vibrating without stopping. It vibrates even when the phone is off, charging, or unplugged. I wiped the cache partition and did a factory reset, and it still won't stop vibrating. I haven't seriously gotten the phone wet, but it has been around a sink often, and I'll wipe water off the screen and back often. Why is it vibrating and are there ways to disable the vibration or even make the vibrations work properly?

Welcome to the forums. If a factory reset didn't stop the vibration there's a big chance that it's a hardware problem. I would take the phone to a repair shop and see what they say.
