Show confirmation before uninstalling apps

I accidentally checked the "Don't show again" checkbox when I uninstalled an app. Is there a way to get the confirmation popup to display again?
In case it matters, I have an LG G5 (marshmallow).

Try Reset App Preferences in Settings, Apps, All, 3-dot menu top right.

I tried that.
Brought back all the apps I had disabled, but not the confirmation popup.

Welcome to the forums. You could try this. Go to settings - apps - show system - scroll down, select 'settings' and clear data. This is used to fix different issues with the settings, like hiding the developer options after they were enabled. You'll lose some personal changes that you did in the settings though.

That didn't do it either.
Someone mentioned on a similar question about switching the setting for that in a database, but I assume I'd need root access for that.

Screw it. I backed up my data and did a factory reset. I never thought I'd take such an extreme step for something so unimportant, but whatever.

If anyone does know a simple fix that doesn't involve erasing everything, do let us know. It'll be hilarious.
In the meantime, I'll try to be more careful with my stupid jittery fingers.
