Hi, my Nexus 5 today started not taking a charge. It says it's plugged in according to Ampere, but it also says it's not charging. PC won't read the phone at all.

Is it the battery, a cable/some cables, or the board?

Welcome to Android Central! Have you tried different charging cables and wall plugs?

As B. Diddy has said, try different combinations of chargers and plugs. Is your software up to date? I'm assuming your Nexus 5 is a few years old?

In that case, it could be a problem with the phone's microUSB port, or possibly the motherboard. That would require a trip to a repair shop, but before you do that, try booting into Safe Mode to see if the problem persists then: https://support.google.com/nexus/answer/2852139?hl=en
