how can i get my galaxy fame to play music now ive wiped something off

i wiped my music from my phone and added an sd card to boost the amount of music i could have but my phone wont recognise there is music on the phone or card even if i take the card out. i think i might have wiped something off the phones memory or something by mistake..please help
