Weather widget got moved to the Flipboard Briefing panel and can not be moved to another panel

When I swipe to the briefing panel I see the widget for about 2 seconds and then it disappears.How do I remove it from the home screen if I can not tap and hold it? The only thing I can do is disable briefing but that disables the whole panel. I still can not see the weather widget and can not re-add it on another panel. I have tried to force stop the weather application and rebooting but that did nothing. I am using touchwiz home launcher. If I switch to another launcher like touchwiz easy home, the widget shows up. Once I switch back to touchwiz home, the widget is back to the briefing panel. Any ideas how to remove and re-add the widget without needing to tap and hold the widget?
