syncing deleted mail

How do I get my note4 android 6.0.1 mail app to sync in a way that it will delete any mail off my phone that I have deleted from my online outlook via my pc? Currently if I go through my mail in work deleting mail I then have to go through it all again on my phone. Using the app that came with the phone. Tried others but like this one best apart from this sync problem.

Welcome back! Is this an Exchange account? Are you able to use IMAP settings for your work email? IMAP would be ideal, because it doesn't physically download emails to your phone--it just mirrors what's on the remote server, so that deleting an email on the server will be reflected on every device you use (as long as it's using IMAP).

Yea it says "Microsoft exchange active sync"

Ask your work IT dept to see if they can give you IMAP server settings.
