Since upgrading to Marshmallow I find that the internal memory quickly runs out, but when I look at the storage breakdown the figures don't add up to the total memory used. For example the total internal storage used currently totals 4.61 GB of 5.51 GB potentially available, but the total for Apps is 2.07 Gb with 137 MB of cached data (I have an SD card where everything else id stored). This problem has been going on for some time, and when the internal storage figure creeps higher I'm then prevented from installing any new Apps and I have issues with other apps not working and downloading emails etc. Any help greatfully received.
